I was recently looking into this and came across a few videos online. There was this guy who said you can make commissions in under a week. I dont know if thats true but wanted to know if hes genuine or a scammer. This is the video he said it in: https://youtu.be/7sN6U73pZr0 . If not then who would you recommend for learning this stuff as it seems so confusing for me!
If you’re in WordPress, we have very good news for you. There are top-notch, time-saving, and user-friendly Amazon Associates link building plugins available to turn the above-mentioned process into a smoother and more comfortable one. And as these plugins don’t just offer the link building functionality, but a few more handy features, why not use them and reinvent the wheel again and again?
When you are getting targeted organic traffic to your blog, banner advertisements work great. For me, a great part of the conversion comes from banner clicks. Prominent banner placement is a worthwhile task. One of the mistakes which many of us regularly make is to add too many banners, which only serves to confuse the reader.  To avoid this problem, follow this one rule of thumb:
I was actually with Bluehost at one point and Godaddy. I didn’t know much about hosting when I started and did the same thing (I think everybody does) where they either do a Google search and follow an affiliate’s recommendations whose in it for the money or they ask their developer. But I am glad you’re giving SiteGround a shot and like I mentioned in the previous comment – let me know how it works for you. Yes their support is amazing I am always impressed by it.
Another option for growing your email list is Ninja Popups. It includes all of the necessary functionality of a popup plugin, like customization, display settings, and integration with leading mailing list managers. You can also use the popup to lock content so visitors will not be able to see it until they subscribe to your list. A single-site license costs $22.
Plan your video before you make it. Rambling is one way to make a long, over-saturated video that can cause your bounce rate to sky rocket (people clicking off the video). Make a script to follow (but give yourself for some improvisation) and also don't be afraid to cut out content you think is uninteresting or not relevant. No one wants to hear about your Gran's sixtieth birthday bash on a video unboxing the latest sneakers.

"Reading Michelle's income reports each month made me realize the huge potential there is to make more money online. Even as a blogger with an established site over 8 years old, I knew that there was so much that I could learn from Michelle because she's had such incredible success! Watching her income climb each month has really motivated me to change up my affiliate strategy and be more intentional with my efforts." - Jessica Bishop, TheBudgetSavvyBride.com
Affiliate marketing success starts with choosing the right niche. In a lot of ways, what you’re looking for is a sort of “Goldilocks” idea. You need a topic that’s broad enough that you’ll always have things to talk about, narrow enough that you can stand out from the crowd, but not so narrow that you don’t really have an audience. Additionally, you’ll need an idea that can be profitable – there needs to be some type of product that people will be interested in buying, even if that “product” is just information.
Another thing about affiliate marketing is the payout percentages as well as how these people track your viewers who are clicking on these links. Every time someone clicks on one of your special tracking affiliate links, a little cookie is put onto that person’s computer to track what they purchase. The best part about the cookies is that if you link to a specific product, they don’t have to purchase that product. Anything they purchase on that website, you get commissions for. So they could click over with your affiliate link and that cookie and decide not to purchase that, but purchase a whole bunch of other things, and you get paid commission off it.
Glad it was helpful, Kimberly! Yes, from what I understand they use an affiliate program for 1-2 links in some cases. For example, I use scrapbook.com’s affiliate program for that one bunting how-to but I don’t really blog about my scrapbooking so that’ll probably be all I used it for. I was also concerned about having so many, but for old posts that still get a lot of traffic, it’s a good idea!
I am Edward, I would like to do online earning. I already clickbank beginner. Can you help me to send me your link, how to make online earning using facebook & instagram easy way. or I will send you my clickbank link you will publish in website or google traffic. I don’t know your best way. If I get money, sure I will pay you some commissions. This commitments for few months until I learnt from you 🙂

Thanks for the tips, Tiffany! It was very helpful. I just started my blog about a month ago and just signed up for Shareasale. I do have a further question. Do you know what blog post on Shareasale’s blog, gives me the best information in getting started and what I need to do? I am finding it hard to navigate my way through and really get an idea of the best way to start. It’s all quite overwhelming. Or is there a post that you have to guide me better?

Win-win-win. The advertiser wins because they only pay when a purchase is made (as opposed to the shotgun approach of paying to advertise to the masses and waiting for a small percentage to actually buy). The affiliate wins because they make money while providing helpful advice. The customer wins because they get a trusted recommendation for something they might not otherwise have known about.
Taking part in affiliate marketing will force you to examine your blog’s conversion rates. Let’s say you are promoting a specific product via affiliate links on a landing page. If you currently get 1,000 visits/month at a 3% conversion rate, you have 30 referrals. To get to 60 referrals, you either have to get 1,000 more visitors to the page with blogging, SEO efforts, paid traffic or social media marketing. Or you could simply increase the conversion rate to 6%.
After uploading it, you can active the Omnistar Affiliate WordPress plugin. In the settings of the plugin, it is going to ask you to enter the application url. The application url is the url of where your Omnistar Affiliate Software is hosted. Here’s an example: http://youraccount.ositracker.com Once you do this, Omnistar Affiliate Software is installed and you can now create your affiliate program.

I have written about SEO Smart link in detail earlier. Using this plugin, you can auto-link any word with a link. Also works with links in your RSS feeds & comment section. Very useful to get more affiliate sales.  A good free alternative us auto affiliate links plugin. On paper, it looks great, but I haven’t tested it yet. If you try this plugin, come back & share your views.

Many online retailers offer affiliate programs (Amazon Associates is one of the biggest and most well-known). It’s also possible to register with an affiliate program like Commission Junction, ShareASale and ClickBank, all of which offer a huge variety of physical and digital products and services from hundreds of different companies, all in one place.
If you're a vlogger that wants to take part in affiliate marketing, you can place affiliate links in your video descriptions, or even in the video overlays that lay on top of your videos. Product review videos are a great way to engage with your audience, provide more valuable information than you can in a simple blog post, and generate affiliate sales on places like YouTube.
Again, make sure that you’re promoting something you believe in, that you’re using. Make sure you do your research. You look at the product creators. You look at other affiliates that are promoting. Check out JVNotifyPro. Check out MunchEye. Create your promotional sequence. Create videos around this product and get people excited and give people, most importantly, knowledge and help them make an educated decision. This is not going to be for everybody.

Thanks for stopping by! Blogging is a great way to make an income. What you are reading is a blog and it can be filled with words or videos to help your audience. You create content to attract a loyal readership and then you can monetize your blog by promoting products to your audience. Thank you! This is really helpful. I have Amazon Affiliates, but I want to get more intentional with how I use it. The only negative thing I have about the program is that since I live outside of US the only way I can get paid is by amazon gift card, or expensive checks mailed to me. I mean, I can use the money I earn now on Amazon on things I actually need, but I don’t know if it’s worth putting a lot of effort into earning more when I can only use the money on Amazon 😛

It’s very simple - if your content isn’t that good or can be found somewhere else, your blog will not be successful. Period. Do not simply post an article because it’s Wednesday and some “guru” says you should blog mid-week. Say something valuable. Give your readers something they can use so they leave your blog feeling more enlightened than when they arrived. To stay relevant with your readers:
Anyways, learned a lot here today, tThanks for giving info on affiliate marketing. I have been an affiliate for few programs but failed to make a profit because I haven’t done it correctly. Also, web traffic on your site requires to be really good and targeted to get things work. Require to work on traffic first and then you can go for affiliate marketing. An Affiliate Marketing also depends on what niche are you blogging about. If you have a technology blog, you can join Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal. If you talking into web-hosting, then you can join the affiliated programs derived by Webhosting companies.
Aweber is, along with MailChimp, the world’s most popular email marketing service. Unfortunately, MailChimp’s affiliate rewards have no cash value, and can only be redeemed against MailChimp costs. Therefore, if you want to earn money by recommending an email marketing service, Aweber is one of the top choices among affiliate programs for WordPress users.
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you liked this post and the ideas in it. Yes, putting your affiliate post on a separate page is something I like to do but I’ve also just posted on my blog a new affiliate post and that’s good too! I feel if you’ve been blogging for a year or more and THEN start affiliate marketing, it might be a good idea to ease your audience into this by placing your affiliate post on a separate page!
I think one of the easiest ways to do it is actually when you’re going to do a review video. So if you’re reviewing a specific product, I would link to that product so your viewers can actually go purchase that product as well, especially if it’s something that you love. That’s probably the easiest way to integrate affiliate links. And it’s also a great way to monetize any video that’s not sponsored. So any time you have favorite things or your favorite products or reviews, you can throw in an affiliate link to help people know where to find the product you’re talking about.
