Debbie from Mamanista said that her blog gets around 2,500 unique views per month, which isn’t all that big. BUT she earns around $20,000 a year in affiliate income! Some of her posts from a few years ago still bring in money because they come up in searches and lead people to her site. For example, she gets paid from Sittercity because she ranks in search engines for terms regarding finding a babysitter.

With this way, you can hire someone who can make a reviewing video of the product you are about to advertise (on Freelancer or Fiverr site...). After getting the video, you can upload it to Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion... After that we still have one more difficult step, which is make your video appear on the top when people search for it. It may appear on the top results of Google, Youtube, Vimeo... or other searching tools.

Ask for VIP (sometimes called “tiered”) commissions. Many affiliate programs have different commission levels. Usually the standard commission level is made public, but higher commissions are offered to higher performing affiliates. Sometimes you may be bumped up to “VIP affiliate” status by the advertiser, but most times you have to ask if there’s a higher tier and how you can get there.

You can test the plugin by visiting Post Affiliate Pro’s online demos. Options include site owner, the affiliate signup and the merchant signup — far more extensive than Magic Affiliate’s demo. "What I would recommend to people is to think of 5-10 great pages that you could use to promote affiliate offers related to your niche. Then link to those money pages from your sidebar, footer or somewhere else that will give them a lot of visibility from the other pages on your site. Keep the rest of your site ad-free," says Spence. "The goal is not to monetize every page, but for every page to be a potential gateway to monetization."

Affiliate marketing is a hugely lucrative industry, and a worthwhile investment for many businesses. Embracing affiliate marketing can give you the edge on your competitors in terms of exposure, traffic, and conversions. Plus, as a WordPress-hosted site, you’ll benefit from user-friendly tools that can help you streamline the affiliate marketing process.
Pretty Link Lite is the free version of the Pretty Link Pro plugin that was mentioned earlier. The Lite version will meet the needs of many bloggers and marketers. With this free plugin you can easily shorten links using your own domain name and re-direct them to long and ugly affiliate links. The free version will even track the number of clicks and unique clicks of each shortened link, giving you some valuable information about how many people are clicking through on your affiliate links. You can create 307 (temporary) or 301 (permanent) re-directs, and you also have control over whether or not the links should use nofollow tags.
WooCommerce users will enjoy AffiliateWP’s easy integration and international functionality. If you’re already running an affiliate program, you’ll benefit from the time saves thanks to assisted migration. Shortcodes allow you to choose where and when your visitors find new affiliate invitations. Reward high-performing affiliates with personalized coupon codes with affiliate coupon tracking.
You can also make "money marketing" by having ads on your site. Some companies will pay you directly to place their ads on your site, but Google’s AdSense automatically places ads on your site and pays you whenever someone clicks on it. Many affiliate marketers also earn money from writing “sponsored posts,” where a company pays you directly to feature their product on your site.

In the blogging world it’s common to hear other bloggers talking about ways to make income. One of those ways is by using affiliate links. An affiliate link is a link with a tracking code; when a person clicks on that link and buys the product you get a commission on that purchase. Affiliate links are a great way to make passive income (see how much I make with affiliate income per month.)
With the personal method, you’ll be promoting products that you’ve used before within your own life. This is simple, and doesn’t require a lot of research because you’re already familiar with the product. Maybe you’ve been using it for years, or this is your first time. If you like the product by the company you’re affiliate with, you can write a blog post or social media post about it, using your affiliate link. You’ll tell your audience what you like and dislike about the product and whether you would continue using it in your life. Be honest in your promotion, and tell people how you really feel about the product; if you are dishonest and promote for the sake of getting paid, you won’t be very successful, not matter how many products you promote.
The third most significant advantage of the platform is that it is easy to get into, and you don’t need to invest any money yourself either, since Clickbank makes its money from its commission on vendors’ products. To access the platform and start browsing through the available products, you simply need to sign up. When you have chosen a digital product to advertise on your website, you’ll be able to use their own payment platform, mobile checkout, custom order forms, subscription management, refund policy and much more. Clickbank provides all of the features of a fully-fledged e-commerce platform, and you can use their own system rather than worrying about setting up your own payment and online shopping platform on your website.
What I’d urge you to do if you’re interested in affiliate marketing and Clickbank, whether you want to be a vendor or an affiliate, is to go over to affiliatemarketingdude.com and download our free marketing toolbar. This has all the links and tools that you need to get started making a living with affiliate marketing fast, like literarily right now if you want to.

Great tips! Since I just started blogging in January I am still really just getting my toes wet in affiliates. However, I did notice that pictures and real life demonstrations of the product really help. For instance, I have several food posts where I talk about my favorite cook books and show what I have cooked out of them, and then included amazon links, sure enough I sold a few cook books.
If you use product reviews at your site, like many affiliates do, you can use this free plugin to help display your ratings. You can use stars, percentage, or points ratings and the plugin supports Google’s rich snippets to show those ratings in the search results. It includes a tabbed widget that will show your most recent reviews and popular reviews.
Use your personal words & experience with the product. Your own content, or photos & videos of yourself using the product are always the most effective. For example, many affiliate programs provide swipe copy to their affiliates which is pre-written emails, post material or social media posts. These can be helpful as a guide, but they often scream swipe copy, aren’t written in your voice (the one your readers know!) and if a lot of affiliates are using it, are overdone.
The Traffic Center: With the traffic center you’ll discover how to generate almost unlimited traffic and clicks, practically on demand. However, if you read out the story of Jamie, you will get some inspiration to kick-start right away. He’s now making around $3k per month which is growing everyday. At first, he invested all his effort on writing contents only. Then, he advanced towards building links and other strategy to promote his website. Guest posting, forum conversation, and blog commenting were his early source of getting backlinks.

It has over 175 million users and it’s an amazing tool for generating page views. And although a few years ago Pinterest users used to be mostly women, over 40% of new subscribers are men! People go on Pinterest to be inspired and they love seeing content from websites: over 75% of images saved on Pinterest are created by bloggers and business owners.

It’s relatively hands-off. Once you set up your affiliate marketing program, the affiliates will do most of the work for you – and they’re continually motivated to do so by the commissions they recieve. Of course, you will need to keep an eye on their progress, manage your affiliate network, and update your strategy regularly (if you want to achieve the best returns).
