Not everyone is able to do this, being an affiliate is similar to being a marketer. There are people who can do meanwhile others cannot, Clickbank is not a means of making money, but more of a base to make money, acts as intermediary between vendors, affiliates and customers. You will work for yourself, find customers who would purchase the products you advertise but do nothing for Clickbank.
I am absolutely new to the whole online marketing thing. I visited CB in 2012, then, it appeared overwhelming so I put it on the back burner. A week ago I revisited CB and ran two campaigns without a website nor blog . I went to Fiverr and had traffic directed to my CB ad. At this point, I’m just waiting to see if anything converts. I jumped in without knowing too much of what I was doing… I needed to take some type of action.
What I struggle with is that it’s hard to stay IN a lot of affiliate programs if you don’t do well with them. So in that “building up to 1000s of affiliate programs” stage or when choosing an affiliate program that only really fits in one or two microniche posts, if you’re not already big and converting well, those links won’t do well and a lot of programs will boot you out.
Hi Melissa, I am really enjoying your Blog, and would like to get into Affiliate Marketing. The problem is I just can’t seem to get them on my Blog. I seem to be the only one to have this problem. I’ve searched for an answer, with no success. I must be the only one out there that can not figure this out. Could you possibly help? Please tell me how this is done. Thank so much, Donna
The homepage doesn’t waste space with blog posts or non-monetized content. It immediately advertises the site’s best deals and follows this up with a slider of some additional popular coupons. Below that visitors will find more coupons organized by category. Clicking any offer will take visitors to the dedicated coupon pages where they will then click the ad again to get the code and visit the vendor’s site.
"Since taking Michelle's course 5 months ago, my monthly page view average has been 36,715 but my affiliate marketing income has grown from an average of $272.94 per month to $4,400.19 per month. That’s more than 1,500% growth! Within just 5 quick months, I’ve made more than $21,000 directly from the affiliate marketing tips in this course…. I made more than $10,000 in just March 2017 alone! Low page views is not an excuse for low affiliate marketing income. You don’t have to struggle to earn a few dollars a month. Invest in yourself & get educated to start building your business right away. Let Michelle show you how an expert does it!" - Saira Perl, Blogger, MomResource

A great SEO tactic is to do create one "featured article" where you send all guest post and link building traffic. This post will be the cornerstone of your website and you should focus on getting as many links as possible to this URL. Aim for a target keyword here with 25,000+ searches/month on Google and make sure to shorten the blog URL to only include the focus keyword. For example, Ryan's amazing post "10 Steps: How to Start a Blog on the Side and Make Money in 2018 (The Ultimate Guide)" simply has the URL ending in /how-start-blog/ (and is dominating search engines).

Many youtubers are already signed up to large affiliate programs like Amazons affiliate program, but don't realize how much more they could be making. There are hundreds of different affiliate programs out there, so it's worth shopping around for the right ones, but if you're looking for a place to start, here are the 10 best affiliate programs for youtubers.
What I’ll also do is I’ll check out the JV Invite page. I think it’s probably going to make me log in here, but you can also see other affiliates that will be on board promoting this, and if there’s big affiliates that will be on board promoting this that are well known marketplace, that is an indicator that this is going to be a pretty big launch because there’s other well known marketers on board. There’s a few indicators that will determine the size of a launch, but I’ll typically look at the JV page, look at other affiliates that are promoting, and then I’ll look at the product creators, and if I recognize the names, then, typically, I go ahead and I’ll promote it if they’re well known, they have a good reputation.
Marques Brownlee, who is mentioned in this post and featured in our Top Tech Reviewers, is a fantastic example of how to include affiliate links on your YouTube videos that actually provide viewers with even greater value. With such high quality, professional tech review videos, it’s easy to see why he has a YouTube following of nearly 3.5 million people, and receives well over a million views on many of his videos.
You don’t necessarily have to have a huge site or lots of traffic. Consider emailing an affiliate program’s contact person (look for contact info on the site or in affiliate newsletters) if you send a lot of leads their way, rank well in the search engines for a related keyword or have a high conversion rate. Make your email compelling. Read my tips here. You just have to be a good fit and provide excellent value to the merchant. Another good resource for this is here.
Soliloquy – 20% per sale from one of the best lightweight slider plugins which won’t slow down your site like Revolution Slider and other robust slider plugins. It’s minimal, but it looks nice and is super easy to use. If you run the P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler) Plugin and see your slider plugin is causing slow load times, check out Soliloquy – or tell your clients too :)
I was able to make my first online dollars through Amazon Affiliate sales… It was never much and in the beginning I was just excited to make $10 in a month, which was enough for a free ebook or two. With regular updates and link inclusions in my posts over time I was able to grow the number up to like $300 a month–which I was pretty happy with. Of course the payout rates are paltry compared to a sale of an info product like one from Unconventional Guides, etc. Thing is, people seem to be more open to purchasing physical products rather than information products…
SEMrush – 40% recurring commission for SEMrush subscription sales. That means $40 – $160/month for each person who continues their subscription when they sign up with your affiliate (not bad). This is one of the top rated SEO tools on the market and provides you with a large amount of data about keywords, backlinks, authority, referring domains, and more.
I got a question about the funnel. You were talking about the first page to be a blog page. I interpreted it as having you own blog(website), that should compete with other expert website. I was wondering if the first step of your funnel can be the opt-in page. The blogs that refers to the opt-in page are guestblogposts on expert websites, so multiple ways of traffic and seo. So you are only building an opt-in page, thank you page, landing pages etc on your website, but no blog to become an expert. Is that something you can do? Or is that not Google friendly or most expert websites are against?
Playlists are a great way for linking related videos together. When one video is finished, the next video in the playlist will automatically start, which is great if you're creating a series of videos. Annotations allow you to create links within the video- so you can link to your previous videos in your newer content, helping spread traffic to your other videos if one does well.
